Assistant Duties:
- Assist management with administrative duties
- Maintain and update the personnel files of employees
- Prepare and distribute reports and correspondences to employees, customers, and vendors
- Determine why a project is behind schedule, and keep management informed
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements for employees
- Maintain the company’s supply and inventory records
- Assist with the coordination of logistics for events, meetings, and conventions
- Assist with the recruitment of new employees as needed
Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the daily operations of company, including opening, closing, and bookkeeping
- Assist with administrative tasks; answer incoming calls; type, proofread, and edit correspondence; create spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Assist with administration of benefits program
- Conduct payroll and accounting tasks
