Bike Courier Duties:
- Deliver packages in an efficient manner
- Handle customer requests expeditiously
- Understand local delivery area and traffic patterns
- Ensure packages are handled with care
- Ensure timely delivery of packages
- Meet deadlines and quotas
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Report any issues relating to missed deadlines, damaged packages, or any other problems to managers
- Perform other duties assigned
Bike Courier Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety rules and policies
- Deliver bicycles and packages, loading and unloading bicycles, and assist customers as needed
- Deliver bicycles to various locations throughout the Greater Boston area
- Pick up bicycles from various locations throughout the Greater Boston area
- Pick up/drop off bicycles to various office locations
- Maintain daily route logs, and submit reports to the Operations Manager
- Maintain bicycle inventory
- Conduct bicycle maintenance
Requirements And Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years bicycle courier experience
- Ability to climb on and ride a 20+ lb. bike over 20+ blocks
- Must be able to lift 20 .
