Clinical Director Duties:
- Envisions, designs, and implements new strategies to improve and refine clinical operations
- Develops and implements strategies to improve staff knowledge, skills, and competencies
- Maintains awareness of clinical best practices and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all regulatory and operational policies and procedures
- Develops and implements the clinical business plan and fiscal budget
- Develops and implements a process for continuous quality improvement
- Conducts regular meetings with clinical staff, responds to staff inquiries, and coordinates the coordination of staff activities
- Works with nursing leadership and staff to establish and maintain a learning environment that promotes clinical excellence

Clinical Director Responsibilities:

- Plan, oversee, and coordinate clinical operations to ensure clinical efficacy, patient compliance, and quality and safety
- Research, develop, and update clinical protocols, guidelines, and procedures
- Expand the company’s scope of services with corporate and academic partners, including negotiation of provider contracts and participation in regulatory boards
- Create and maintain a culture of clinical excellence by recruiting, onboarding, and retaining highly skilled doctors
- Develop and manage a budget for all clinical programs
- Develop, implement, and maintain organizational policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, medical specialists, and payers
- Oversee clinical programs’ compliance with regulatory standards, including ARHP, HIPAA, Medicare, and state licensure
- Provide clinical oversight
Requirements And Skills:
- M.D./Ph.D. in nursing or related field
- Minimum 5 years in clinical practice
