Cyber Security Engineer Duties:

• Develop and implement advanced security architecture, controls, and procedures
• Create, develop, and deliver complex security solutions to a wide range of customers
• Work with management, customers, and vendors to define requirements, goals, and timelines
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external groups
• Perform independent research and identify security improvements
• Develop and perform tests/assessments
• Develop documentation and support solutions for new and existing software
• Perform audits and assessments
• Analyze and assess vulnerabilities
• Contribute to the development of products
• Assist with customer-defined development, operations, and maintenance support

Cyber Security Engineer Responsibilities:

• Help develop and implement cybersecurity programs, policies, and procedures
• Work closely with internal security teams to improve risk management, prevent, detect, and respond to security threats, and respond to security incidents
• Develop and update vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, security policies, and procedures
• Review controls on an ongoing basis to ensure effective security posture
• Implement security controls, and document them with test results, signatures, and date
• Support the cybersecurity program governance process, coordinating with the CISO and CISO staff
