Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Demolition Laborer to work on a variety of demolition projects. The Laborer will be responsible for performing various tasks to safely and efficiently demolish structures.

Demolition Laborer Duties:

• Substantial experience in performing various demolition activities
• Immense knowledge of managing different operations
• Outstanding knowledge of materials and tools for construction and repair
• Perform demolition work in a safe and timely manner
• Excellent detail-oriented and hardworking individual.
• Eagerness to work for long working hours.
• Understanding and knowledge of residual materials.
• Good time management skills.

Demolition Laborer Responsibilities:

• Perform all demolition-related tasks from removing structural materials to disposing of debris
• Work safely during demolition and clean up after it
• Assist with demolition planning, such as preparing and submitting demolition and salvage plans
• Prepare and submit claims for materials, labor, and machinery
• Perform demolition inspections, including framing, roofing, masonry, piping, and electrical
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships with subcontractors, construction managers, and customers
• Receive, maintain, and document all job-related records
• Work safely and maintain a clean jobsite
• Assist with estimating and planning projects
• Be a willing team member, taking initiative when needed

Requirements And Skills:

• At least 1-year demolition experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
• Proven experience removing asbestos, lead, and mold
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proven ability to operate a skid steer, backhoe loader
