- Understand geographic information systems (GIS) and geographic information science (GISS) concepts
- Use GIS data to provide strategic direction to departments in an enterprise
- Use GISS tools to manipulate, prepare, and display GIS data
- Develop and maintain GIS databases, maps, and reports
GIS Analyst Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain GIS databases for tracking construction activities
- Maintain CAD drawings, GIS data, and database structure using ESRI ArcMap
- Perform field data collection and inspections, and create 3D topographic models using laser scanners
- Assist with image and data analysis for construction activities
- Maintain and update all construction-related data including planning, permit applications, and project documents
- Use ArcGIS Pro to create and maintain GIS maps and reports
