Gutter Installer Job Description

A gutter installer installs gutters on a building.

Job Brief:

Gutter Installer Duties:

• Install, replace, repair, and maintain gutter systems
• Monitor production goals and deadlines
• Perform all job duties in a safe manner
• Complete all job responsibilities according to company procedures, safety rules, and guidelines
• Use company tools and equipment
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Perform all job duties in compliance with all applicable laws, safety regulations, and company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Use the tools of the trade
• Follow all safety rules, including those in OSHA regulations
• Ensure gutters and downspouts are free of debris
• Ensure gutters are secured in proper places
• Install, replace, repair, and maintain gutter systems
• Follow all safety rules, including those in OSHA regulations
• Ensure gutters and downspouts are free of debris

Gutter Installer Responsibilities:

• Clean, inspect, and service gutters
• Install gutters to specifications
• Grout and caulk around joints
• Place drip edge under shingles
• Accessory gutter and downspout installations
• Install gutter guards and other rain gutter protection products
• Vacuum clean gutters
• Install leaf guards
• Repair downspouts when needed
• Repair fascia boards
• Repair gutters when necessary
• Perform miscellaneous gutter repairs

Requirements And Skills:

• Experience installing gutters
• Experience working with ladders
• Excellent communication with co-workers
• Unlimited ability to work in inclement weather
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Ability to perform various tasks required during gutter installations, such as lifting, climbing, and bending
