Inventory Analyst Duties:

- Keep track of inventory and identify potential sources of supply shortages

Inventory Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for a specific business area, including territory analysis and product allocation, and daily monitoring of inventory levels, providing inventory trend analyses, and recommending inventory cuts
- Manage the inventory system, including purchase orders, receiving, inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation
- Analyze and forecast demands for inventory, inventory usage, and inventory requirement in cash flow planning, and underlay the inventory plan
- Review order quantities and product costs to identify opportunities for improving margins and reducing costs
- Develop and implement inventory control systems such as cycle counts, forecasting, and perpetual inventory systems
- Coordinate inventory transfer activities
- Develop and supervise new inventory control functions for the company
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Proven experience in a warehousing or operations environment
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
