IT Analyst Duties:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise level information systems
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain server and desktop operating systems
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications
- Create and maintain backup and recovery procedures
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain local area networks and wide area networks
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain hardware used in IT and data communications
- Write technical documentation
- Implement and maintain telecommunication systems
- Support all business operations with IT systems
- Prepare technical documentation and progress reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned
IT Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term technology plans based on strategic plans and industry trends
- Support and plan maintenance activities, maintain system reliability, and ensure system security
- Review system capabilities, and oversee upgrades, installations, and maintenance
- Create and optimize business processes and workflows with relevant data, and oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies
- Manage IT infrastructure and systems, including network administration, servers, storage, and desktop support
- Create, develop, test, and deploy new functionality, work stations, operating systems, applications, and system upgrades
- Conduct feasibility studies, project analyses, and risk assessments and recommend technology solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, guidelines, and procedures, including security standards
