Long Haul Truck Driver Duties:

• Drive long haul trucks on routes in & around Los Angeles, CA
• Present to potential clients, make new contacts, and follow up on old leads
• Provide excellent customer service while transporting goods from the distribution centers

Long Haul Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive company trucks on a designated route, transporting and delivering company materials, supplies, and equipment
• Follow all DOT regulations, speed limits, and traffic laws
• Load, secure, and transport materials in truck, making sure they are properly labeled, and in compliance with DOT regulations
• Drive to job sites to load materials, and unload at delivery points
• Provide safety instructions and rules to crew members, and fill out paperwork as needed
• Assist in maintenance, cleaning, and repair of truck

Requirements And Skills:

• Commercial driving license (CDL) with air brake endorsement required
• Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience as a commercial driver
• 5+ years verifiable experience in intermodal transportation
• Excellent driving record, with a spotless safety record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
