We’re looking for a Mental Health Counselor who can help us with our mental health needs. We need someone who is experienced in counseling and who can help us with our mental health issues.
Mental Health Counselor Duties:
- Provide clinical services to children and adults with mental health disorders
- Develop treatment plans and strategies for patients
- Interact with patients to asses their needs, provide appropriate treatment, and prepare them for reintegration into society
- Recognize, assess, and treat patients with mental health problems
- Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests, and treatment procedures
- Communicate with established physicians and mental health care professionals
- Identify and evaluate patients’ and family members’ strengths, needs, and abilities

- Perform individual or group counseling
- Develop treatment plans for inmates with mental health needs
- Develop and implement education, treatment, and administrative policies and procedures for inmates with mental health needs
- Assist with inmate reintegration following release from prison
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field
- Graduate degree in mental health counseling preferred
- 4+ years’ experience in mental health counseling and/or community mental health
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff
