We’re looking for a PHP developer to help us create a new website.

PHP developer Duties:

  • Develop web applications and website back-ends using PHP
  • Interact with team members to plan, organize, develop, test, and deploy web applications
  • Provide technical assistance on PHP-related questions
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and document web applications
  • Research new PHP technologies, frameworks, and languages
  • Support the CMSs, OOPS, and databases
  • Provide project support when necessary

PHP developer Responsibilities:

  • Create, test, and maintain applications/sites written in PHP, utilizing Zend Framework and MySQL
  • Work within a project-based framework, modifying existing applications, building components, and integrating with other resources
  • Implement automated tests using PHPUnit, Codeception, and Mockaroo
  • Implement, enhance, and maintain web application security
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues and ensure that fixes are deployed on time
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests
  • Create and maintain documentation for internal use
  • Provide day-to-day technical direction to junior developers

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years’ PHP development experience
  • Strong knowledge of PHP and its frameworks
  • Blogging and CMS experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile optimization
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
