A shuttle bus driver picks up passengers at a designated stop and drops them off at another location.

Shuttle bus drivers transport passengers between close locations.

They often drive at a slow pace and take passengers to their destinations without stops in between.

In some cases, drivers may pick up passengers at a designated stop and drop them off at another.

A driver may also carry passengers who are in a hurry, which would require them to drive much faster.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Shuttle Bus Driver to help transport our employees to and from work. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Shuttle Bus Driver Duties:

• Drive and administer school bus safely and for educational purposes
• Transport students to and from schools
• Check bus for mechanical failures
• Prepare bus for pick up and drop off of student
• Collect, submit, and process transportation fee
• Prepare bus for pick up and drop off of student
• Prepaid transport up to 20 minutes
• Report traffic violations

Shuttle Bus Driver Responsibilities:

• Current CDL-A license
• 3+ years of commercial driving experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate a large bus safely at highway speeds

Requirements And Skills:

• Drive shuttle bus service, including picking up and dropping off passengers, and transporting materials throughout construction zones
• Maintain and operate company vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate inventories of all materials and equipment
• Meet daily customer service expectations while performing other duties as assigned
