Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in social studies, secondary education
• Knowledge of American history
• Experience in teaching history and civics
• Knowledge of current and controversial issues
• Knowledge of child psychology
• Ability to create lesson plans
• Ability to communicate effectively
