Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a consulting role and be able to provide technical expertise to our clients. If you have a passion for technology and helping others, we want to hear from you!

Technical Consultant Duties:

• Manages technical staff of 6 to 10 personnel, and may supervise up to 20 field technicians, installers, or project engineers
• Obtains accurate drawings of all field installations and develops accurate specifications
• Creates new field installation procedures, retrofits, and retrofit systems
• Supports field technicians and installers with training, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Completes all paperwork related to installations
• Supports sales department in resolving installation issues
• Works closely with field operations management in all phases of the project
• Assists sales department in resolving installation issues
• Monitors installation progress and field services
• Must be a disciplined team leader who has the willingness and ability to lead, motivate, and establish an appropriate performance expectation for all responsibilities
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and HVAC issues, and skilled in reading electrical

Technical Consultant Responsibilities:

• Research and propose improvements to proprietary systems and tools to streamline operations
• Provide accurate, timely, and informative performance metrics to upper management
• Provide business analysis to improve all aspects of operations
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational, financial, and performance metrics
• Work closely with the client service team to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements And Skills:

• Masters degree or higher in a technical discipline
• 1+ years of consulting or technical experience
• Knowledge of architecture, engineering, construction, or construction management
• Knowledge of architectural drafting and modeling
