Telecommunications Manager Job Description

The telecommunications manager is responsible for ensuring that an organization’s telecommunications network is functioning properly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and configuring telecommunication systems, as well as experience in troubleshooting any problems that may arise. Telecommunications Manager Duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain telecommunications procurement, management, and operations systems
• Advise and recommend improvements for telecommunications systems
• Manage all telecommunications and network operations, maintenance and service contracts
• Oversee development of invoices, reports, and other billing and collections processes

• Research, select, and maintain telecommunications network equipment

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering or telecommunications systems management
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems and design; ability to coordinate and supervise the installation, configuration, and testing of telecommunications equipment
• Ability to resolve complex problems
• Good oral and written communication skills and project management skills
