UI Designer Duties:
- Provide design direction for information systems, including logos, fonts, images, and themes
- Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to demonstrate proposed product features
- Assist in research and development for user experience
- Analyze current and emerging technologies to forecast future requirements
- Create functional prototypes and present designs in professional presentations
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to improve usability and aesthetics of products
- Perform usability testing and feedback sessions to gather user requirements
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry standards, and incorporate them into the design process
UI Designer Responsibilities:
- 3+ years’ UX design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field
- Experience with wireframes and prototyping
- Experience with user research and testing
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Requirements And Skills:
- Research, outline, and write wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and UI patterns for assigned projects
- Generate design comps and mock-ups, using appropriate tools and software, including Sketch, Figma, Photoshop
- Maintain design requirements and ensure clean code with adherence to standards
- Establish best practices for UI design, including information architecture, visual design, and interaction design
- Establish and maintain style guides, pattern libraries, and color palettes
- Participate in other aspects of project workflow and execution, including documentation, testing, and implementation
- Improve and standardize UI design across the company
