Generation Z

What is Generation Z?

Generation Z is the youngest generation of Americans, born after 2000. They are expected to outnumber Millennials by 2025, and will be the largest generation in the labor force by 2037.

Generation Z is sometimes also referred to as “digital natives.” They are the first generation of Americans who have grown up with a computer in their hand and the internet as their primary source of information.

Generation Z is also the first generation of Americans who have grown up with phones in their hands, and have used social media as a primary form of communication and interaction.

While there is little research on the subject, it is widely believed that Generation Z is more sensitive and aware of things like advertising, marketing, and branding.

What Are Generation Z Characteristics?

Generation Z, also known as Gen Z, is the generation of people born between 1995 and 2015.

Generation Z is different from Millennials (born 1980 to 1995) and Generation X (born 1965 to 1980) in some important ways. Generation Z people (and in-internet-dating, Gen Z ‘singles’) are generally more accepting of gay people and minorities.

They are more computer and social media savvy than Millennials and are more ethnically diverse than Generation X.

Generation Z is necessary because they are the future. They are the ones who will be leading the way and making the decisions that will shape the world. They are the ones who will be the innovators and the change-makers. They are the ones who will be the ones to make a difference.
