Aerospace Engineer Duties:
- Work with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and other team members to develop mechanical systems and components that go into aircraft’s
- Promote and manage research and development of new products
- Perform engineering analyses on products to ensure error-free results
- Promote product design using CAD software
- Work with sales and marketing teams to develop and test new products
- Perform cost analysis of new products
- Promote manufacturing of various aircraft items
- Manage various policies and procedures, such as safety and quality, to ensure compliance with regulations
Aerospace Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop complex space flight vehicle systems and sub-assemblies
- Review and analyze spacecraft and component designs, drawings, and notes, and formulate technical reports and presentations
- Design, analyze, and test new aircraft components, systems, and instruments
- Formulate alternative solutions to solve complex problems in aerospace engineering
- Develop final design and documentation requirements, write reports, present findings, and negotiate contracts
- Partner with aerospace equipment manufacturers and subcontractors to integrate and test space flight vehicles
- Develop and maintain databases, manuals, and drawings
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience
Requirements And Skills:
- BEES or BS degree preferably in mechanical
- 2+ years’ aerospace experience performing mechanical design, analysis, and testing
- Knowledge of advanced mechanical design and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of advanced computer design tools and methods
- Strong problem-solving skills
