Android Developer Duties:

• Research, develop, test, debug, and maintain Android mobile applications
• Analyze and test application performance
• Construct and document software architecture
• Create application user interfaces
• Develop application libraries
• Coordinate deployment and testing of applications
• Review, maintain, and upgrade existing code
• Participate in architecture and design discussions
• Perform maintenance on existing applications

Android Developer Responsibilities:

• Write, design, debug, test, and optimize Android applications
• Develop user interface and user experience
• Create, maintain, and debug application code and data persistence
• Optimize application performance using performance tools, such as profilers
• Identify and resolve performance issues
• Implement new features and enhancements
• Develop unit tests, performance tests, and integration tests, and document and analyze test results
• Develop and document application releases and deployment procedures
• Provide technical support to internal clients
• Develop and maintain technical architecture in response to changing business needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 2+ years’ of experience working in Android development, with extensive knowledge of platform APIs and common development patterns
• Experience building applications with Java
• Knowledge of Android development best practices
• Experience with Android application lifecycles, networking and threading
