We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in litigation and be able to hit the ground running. We are a fast-paced, dynamic law firm that is looking for an Associate Attorney who is able to work independently and handle a high volume of cases. Associate Attorney Duties:

  • Represent clients in court, make court appearances, negotiate settlements, and consult with clients about legal matters
  • Stay abreast of legal trends and issues
  • Handle a variety of legal tasks including legal research, drafting memos, contracts, and agreements
  • Assist with legal filings, maintain files, prepare legal correspondence, and file documents
  • Governance, regulations, and legislation in job field
  • Meet with clients, attend meetings, and prepare reports

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill legal needs of client by creating, updating, and maintaining contracts, agreements, and policies
  • Review, revise, and edit documents, letters, deck presentations, and other written materials
  • Draft agreements and contracts, and advise management on legal ramifications
  • Provide legal guidance, research, and representation to management and clients
  • Perform legal research, including reviewing legal documents and case law, and drafting briefs
  • Represent clients in court
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and conferences
  • Attend continuing education courses, seminars, and workshops
  • Create and maintain company policies, procedures, and procedures
  • Incorporate recommendations and feedback into the company’s operations
  • Develop and implement training programs
  • Attend seminars, workshops, conferences, and trade shows
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in political science, government, or public policy
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing individuals and business entities, and ability to apply them to specific job situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
