Job Brief:
We’re looking for an Athletic Trainer to help us improve our sports performance. You will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs for athletes, as well as monitoring their progress and providing feedback. In addition, you will also be responsible for providing first aid and injury prevention services. Athletic Trainer Duties:
- Provide immediate treatment for athletic injuries and rehabilitation
- Assist in injury prevention and first aid in the event of an injury
- Provide first aid and emergency care to athletes
- Develop rehabilitation programs after injuries
- Performs health screenings at tournaments
- Train new athletic trainers
Athletic Trainer Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and execution of a wellness program to positively impact the local, regional, national, and global marketplace
- Design, develop, and evaluate personal fitness, strength and conditioning, nutritional, and psychological training programs
- Assist in the selection, preparation, and delivery of all camp and clinic programs
- Develop and present appropriate use of force, first aid, and emergency response techniques
- Provide evaluations, and facilitate corrective and preventative actions related to injury, illness, and disease prevention
- Assist in the development and administration of injury prevention, wellness, and educational programs
- Provide professional medical advice and support to individuals and groups in fitness, conditioning, and nutrition programs
- Manage all activities related to employee health and safety
- Conduct safety inspections and record findings for corrective action
- Provide ongoing risk management and safety advisory services to management
- Maintain OSHA-compliant safety documentation

Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or related field
- 2+ years’ work experience as an athletic trainer in a college, high school, or sports medicine clinic
- Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association as a Licensed Athletic Trainer
- Excellent knowledge of athletic training concepts, and proficiency in first aid,
