We’re looking for an Audio Visual Technician to help us with our event. We need someone who is experienced in setting up and operating audio and visual equipment. Audio Visual Technician Duties:
- Perform all Audio Visual related duties

Audio Visual Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform audio visual setup and take down for events, including meeting rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and lecture halls
- Conduct meetings and presentations with remote participants using Skype, GoToMeeting, or other teleconferencing system
- Conduct lectures using PowerPoint, Prezi, or other presentation software
- Use AV equipment to enhance presentations, including live video feeds, laptop computers, projectors, and document cameras
- Create and edit PowerPoint presentations
- Fix any audiovisual equipment to make it work effectively
- Research new equipment and technologies, and test and troubleshoot them
- Coordinate with AV services company to ensure timely setup and tear down of AV equipment and event facilities
- Conduct research to find availability and cost estimates for equipment rentals and service contracts
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Experience with AV systems, including video projection, audio, lighting, and control systems
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
