Audiologist Duties:
- Treat patients professionally and effectively
- Treat patients according to facility protocol
- Perform medical evaluations and diagnoses
- Assess patient needs, identify appropriate interventions, and develop treatment plans
- Complete patient paperwork after each visit
- Conduct hearing tests
- Educate patients about hearing health care issues
- Advise patients on treatment options
- Provide follow-up care to patients
Audiologist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat hearing problems, including testing, diagnosis, and intervention
- Perform ear wax removal and provide hearing aid services
- Perform hearing screening and evaluation, hearing conservation programs, and hearing rehabilitation
- Perform diagnostic consultations and provide medical services to patients
- Assist in the dispensing of hearing aids and related products
- Prepare routine reports, maintain records, and maintain confidentiality
- Use diagnostic audiometers and hearing instruments
- Assist with patient care, including performing office duties, maintaining equipment, and recommending the use of assistive devices
- Develop and implement patient assessment, care, and rehabilitative programs

Requirements And Skills:
- AA degree in audiology, speech-language pathology or other applicable field
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain state license
- Proficient in speech therapy techniques, including:
- Dictation
- Voice therapy
- Listening therapy
