Job Brief:

We’re looking for an experienced Back-end Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and managing our web applications and working with our Front-end Developers to create a seamless experience for our users.

Back End Developer Duties:

• Develop and maintain back-end systems
• Work closely with developers, front-end developers, and designers
• Develop and design tools for automated and manual software development
• Design, test, implement, and maintain back-end systems
• Work with internal and external clients on back-end systems
• Proactively develop and execute strategies to improve back-end development processes
• Identify, test, and implement new technologies to leverage existing and future organizational goals
• Implement preventative solutions to address potential issues
• Maintain and improve software quality

Back End Developer Responsibilities:

• Develop back-end applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC 5, Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery Mobile, SEO, and C#
• Develop new front end features and enhancements using Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, XML, and JSON
• Work with other teams to create and test new front-end features
• Work with teams to set up and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Attend code reviews, participate in daily stand-up meetings, and facilitate peer code reviews
• Oversaw development of new back end features for a web application
• Developed .NET Web API service using ASP.NET Core 2.0, Entity Framework 6.2, and SQL Server 2016
• Developed JSON REST client to consume the API

Requirements And Skills:

• 4+ years of English language development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Previous experience in web technologies; experience with other languages such as C++, C#, Java, and PHP is a plus
