We’re looking for someone who is a Barrister to help us with our case.

Barrister Duties:

  • Consult with clients about their legal matters
  • Advise clients on a wide variety of legal matters
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to reach mutually acceptable solutions
  • Write and argue cases in court
  • Courtroom presentations
  • Assisting with research and drafting legal documents
  • Monitor changes in legal landscape and developments
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Barrister Responsibilities:

  • Maintains complete and accurate files including legal discovery, discovery motions, correspondence, and other legal documents as require
  • Conducts research and investigations
  • Prepares legal reports, including summaries of raw data, and file and trial preparation
  • Prepares case presentations
  • Coordinates and manages legal support
  • Manages calendar
  • Provides secretarial and administrative support
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience, 2+ years litigation support experience
  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • Good communication, analytical and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong client management skills, including the ability to establish and cultivate outside client relationships
