CakePHP is an open source PHP framework that can be used to create websites, web applications, and web applications that can be run on other web servers.

CakePHP is a framework for developing web applications and websites, not a code generator.

CakePHP follows Model–View–Controller (MVC) architecture.

MVC is a software architecture style in computer programming that organizes an application’s components into separate layers.

This model allows developers to divide the application into separate components which are easy to understand and debug.

The Model is the part of the application that executes the database queries.

The View is the part of the application that will display the data to the user.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a CakePHP Developer to work on a new project. The ideal candidate will have experience with CakePHP and be able to work on a variety of projects. If you are a CakePHP Developer and are interested in this position, please send your resume to us.

CakePHP Developer Duties:

• Implement CakePHP framework into existing websites while enhancing existing CakePHP websites and resolving any front-end/back-end issues.
• Write and update custom code as needed
• Recommend and integrate newer and better technologies
• Work with database administrators to maintain and improve existing databases
• Able to work independently and collaborate with others
• Build and maintain MySQL databases
• Use CakePHP Core and libraries to develop and test new features
• Test code thoroughly before releasing to others
• Develop test data
• Maintain documentation and code libraries
• Keep abreast of latest industry developments and advances
• Perform other related duties as assigned

CakePHP Developer Responsibilities:

• Work with backend engineers to implement features, expand functionality, and enhance CakePHP components
• Research and test new software and technologies
• Create and maintain documentation, including technical notes and diagrams
• Work with stakeholders to understand, document, and resolve bug reports
• Work with internal and external developers to make functional enhancements
• Design and implement new features based on user needs
• Participate in an agile development process to accommodate changing requirements
• Provide technical support to users
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Work with database administrators to ensure stability, security, and scalability
• Keep abreast of technology and industry trends
• Participate in professional organizations

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 2+ years’ experience developing web applications with PHP frameworks
• At least 2 years’ experience developing web applications with CakePHP
• Experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser web applications
• Ability to program using object oriented design and principles and best practice
