Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Calibration Technician who is able to calibrate a variety of instruments and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of calibration equipment and will be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and who has excellent communication skills.

Calibration Technician Duties:

• Inspect, perform, and document calibrations according to company policies and procedures
• Keep equipment operating within specified ranges according to manufacturer’s specifications
• Assure that equipment is calibrated and maintained according to ISO, government, and safety regulations
• Perform preventive maintenance and service of equipment
• Maintain accurate records of calibrations and product changes

Calibration Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of test, measurement, and inspection instruments
• Maintain shop inventory of work orders and parts
• Resolve calibration issues with accuracy of measurement and compliance with specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
• 2+ years’ of calibration experience
• Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in temperature and time control equipment
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
