Camp Leader Duties:
- Manage and direct operation of a camp, focusing primarily on developing and managing camp policies and programs
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff members
- Recommend improvements to camp policies
- Identifies departmental needs and works to fill those needs
- Contributes to the development of camp budgets
- Conduct staff evaluations
- Coordinate volunteer activities
- Promote a clean and safe environment
Camp Leader Responsibilities:
- Maintain the camp grounds, amenities, and facilities, including staff housing and sleeping quarters, indoor pool, tennis courts, arts and craft facilities, and fitness equipment
- Conduct daily and weekly staff meetings
- Manage and facilitate children’s play, sports activities, and participation in camp activities
- Enforce the established safety and behavior standards, including dietary restrictions
- Maintain and update the IPM plan

- 2+ years experience working with youth/teens in a leadership role
