Clinical Analyst Duties:

• Evaluate, analyze, and develop clinical protocols and standards for healthcare providers
• Evaluate, analyze, and develop clinical standards and protocols for healthcare providers
• Ensure that processes and protocols are consistent, efficient, and of highest quality
• Provide supervision and training to junior analysts
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate recurring clinical issues
• Establish and manage relationships with external contractors
• Provide general project management oversight
• Manage and oversee the department’s budget

Clinical Analyst Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic plan to meet the organization’s goals, using evidence-based data, and communicate strategic objectives to staff
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate clinical programs, policies and procedures
• Write protocols, policies, and procedures
• Develop metrics to measure quality, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Present data to create and document a strategic plan and reports
• Resolve issues between departments
• Prepare reports, including statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Identify training needs, resolve conflicts, and anticipate problems
• Train and guide staff on quality standards and procedures
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate clinical programs, policies and procedures

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical, health, or life sciences, such as nursing, pharmacy, public health, or biology
• 4+ years clinical experience in medical or health field
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization and follow-up
