We’re looking for a Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team and help us connect with the community. As our Community Outreach Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing outreach plans, building relationships with community leaders, and representing our organization at community events. Community Outreach Coordinator Duties:
- Assist with organizational development and community relations, including client services, employment assistance, public education, and fundraising
- Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies and organizations
- Support with community program development and evaluation
- Meet or exceed all program and fundraising goals
- Support fundraising activities by being knowledgeable on current trends and identifying new opportunities for revenue
- Work closely with other departments in maintaining organizational mission and vision
- Communicate vision, mission, and program objectives to all employees and stakeholders
- Research, write, and edit newsletters, brochures, flyers, advertisements, and other print collateral
- Assist with event production, including sponsorships, publicity, registration, equipment, and venue
- Promote sustainability and sustainability practices within organization
- Maintain organization’s social media presence
Community Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communications strategies to maximize awareness among target audiences
