Dean of Students Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee student disciplinary procedures
- Provide guidance and counsel to students
- Provide advice, counsel, and assistance to the students to ensure their success
- Ensure that students are kept informed of their academic progress
- Coordinate scheduling of classes, orientations, and registration
- Incorporate new ideas into existing programs
- Develop strategies and programs to increase enrollment

Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in education, student affairs, or related field
- 5+ years experience in student affairs, higher education, or student development
- Knowledge of both state and federal laws that govern student affairs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
