Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Delivery Boy to join our team. You’ll be responsible for delivering our products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. If you’re a team player with a positive attitude, we want you on our team!

Delivery Boy Duties:

• Deliver the company’s promotional items, products, and services on a scheduled route or to established accounts as required.
• Maintain a log of the products delivered, delivery notes, and any other records.
• Be responsible for loading and unloading the company vehicle.
• Deliver mail, newspapers, and other deliveries to customers.
• Drive company vehicles, including vans, pickup trucks, and box trucks.
• Research locations for deliveries and pick ups as needed.
• Inform customer of delivery time, item, and price.
• Identify, locate, and secure merchandise from stock.

Delivery Boy Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and properly pack customer items into a truck according to the delivery schedule and address
• Assist in loading the delivery truck, including placing product in the truck, securing product, and providing instructions for returning to store or customers
• Ensure items are loaded and secured to prevent damage and theft
• Meet scheduled delivery times
• Follow proper paperwork and protocol during delivery
• Be friendly, polite, and courteous to all customers
• Assist customers in locating items
• Leave with a positive, upbeat attitude
• Record all visits in system
