We’re looking for a Director of Development to lead our fundraising efforts and expand our donor base. The Director of Development will be responsible for creating and implementing fundraising strategies, developing relationships with potential donors, and overseeing the fundraising team. Director of Development Duties:
- Develop and implement effective capital fundraising and membership programs
- Solicit gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Evaluate and approve proposed gifts
- Communicate with donors, sponsors, and foundation representatives
- Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of the organization’s grant-making activities
- Oversee the planning and management of the organization’s fundraising events
- Develop relationships with potential donors, companies, and foundations
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of prospects
- Establish effective relationships with elected officials, community leaders, and government officials
- Coordinate the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans

Director of Development Responsibilities:
