Job Brief:
We’re looking for a Dump Truck Driver to help us move some dirt around on our construction site. If you have a valid driver’s license and experience driving a dump truck, we’d love to have you on our team.
Dump Truck Duties:
- Drive the company’s dump trucks to and from job sites
- Drive safely and according to all laws and regulations
- Safety awareness: report all accidents, near misses and other hazards
- Lift and move large objects and materials
- Transport all waste to designated areas
- Load and unload dump trucks
- Operate and maintain trucks
- Ensure that vehicles are fueled and that records are kept
Dump Truck Responsibilities:
- Drive a dump truck, haul various materials, and transport debris
- Operate a dump truck system, including hydraulic and steering systems, trailers, and load dividers
- Ensure all equipment and materials are maintained
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, including inspection, repairs, and tire replacement
- Inspect and document tire condition, proper load size, and load distribution
- Report any unsafe conditions, vehicle defects, or unsafe driving practices
- Report vehicle defects and/or unsafe driving practices
- Inspect vehicle records to verify completion and accuracy of work reports
- Document vehicle inspections, including vehicle identification numbers, maintenance, and inspection dates
- Take ownership of projects and complete tasks in a timely manner

- Maintain written and verbal communication
