Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to work with us on our next big project. You’ll be responsible for helping to design and oversee the construction of the electrical system. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to have you on our team.

Electrical Engineer Duties:

• Expedite and manage workload and project/task priorities; provide project guidance and leadership to employees.
• Develop site plans, estimates, and budgets for electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including performing repairs.
• Understand and adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
• Work closely with architects and engineers on projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems, including electrical systems engineering, power distribution, lighting, standby power, and high voltage systems.
• Create electrical designs for electrical facilities including mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, including power distribution and lighting.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications.
• Review contractor’s application for payment.
• Analyze existing system conditions, including outages, downtime, maintenance, and parts inventory.
• Develop energy code compliance plan.

Requirements And Skills:

• Proficient in software specific to electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams.
• Evidence of proficiency in engineering tools (including AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
