An electrician apprentice is a person who has completed an initial training program and is working towards becoming an electrician.
Electrician apprentices must complete at least 1 year of theoretical and practical training, and pass a state licensing examination.

Electrician Apprentice Duties:

Electrician Apprentice Responsibilities:
- Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, including, but not limited to: installing data, communication, and lighting systems; wiring and terminating electrical components; and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Identify electrical problems in existing buildings and equipment and make recommendations for repairs
- Deliver timely service to customers
- Maintain records and documentation
- Perform safety checks and perform safety inspections
