We’re looking for Employee Relations Specialist to help manage and improve employee relations within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience working with employees and managers to resolve issues, improve communication, and promote a positive work environment.
Employee Relations Specialist Duties:
- Ensure that a safe, healthy, and ethical workplace is maintained
- Provide guidance and feedback to others to strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
- Oversee all employee relations activities, including recruitment, selection, compensation, employee training and development, conflict resolution, and work/life programs
- Provide written and verbal communication to employees and managers, including performance reviews, salary reviews, disciplinary action, and termination
- Maintain and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and government regulations
- Communicate with management on employee concerns, issues, and problems
- Oversee all union relations activities
- Provide leadership and direction
Employee Relations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Serving as a liaison and manager between customers and employees, providing customer service, resolving issues, and upholding company policies
- Analyzing customer needs and developing solutions
- Maintaining positive employee relations by fostering a positive work environment, participating in employee appreciation events, and supporting employee training and development
- Working closely with HR to process employee-related paperwork, including hiring, terminations, and compensation
