An enterprise architect is an architect that designs and implements enterprise architectures.

An enterprise architecture (EA) is an integrated set of concepts, principles, and methods that are used to describe, analyze, design, and manage enterprise systems.

A central concept, the architectural pattern, is the EA’s backbone.

An enterprise architect may implement enterprise architectures in government, for-profit, or nonprofit organizations.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture of our enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of enterprise applications and will be able to provide guidance on how to best integrate them.

Enterprise Architect Duties:

• Owns, develops and directs the Enterprise Architecture strategy, process and vision for the organization
• Develop and implement Enterprise Architecture and standards
• Lead the architecture team and provide technical expertise to stakeholders
• Provide guidance and oversight for a robust Enterprise Architecture portfolio
• Continuously evaluate and reassess architecture portfolio to ensure alignment with business strategy
• Drive thought leadership by publishing articles, presentations and participating in speaking engagements
• Develop, implement and maintain an enterprise architecture strategy
• Analyze and recommend improvements for the architecture and technology infrastructure
• Develop and implement governance and policies
• Develop, implement and maintain a technology strategy and roadmap
• Understand and anticipate the business needs of the organization

Enterprise Architect Responsibilities:

• Represent the Cloud and Mobile for SAP group to larger customers, SAP systems and services, and SAP partners.
• Oversee technical processes, and drive customer and partner satisfaction by solving complex technical and business issues.
• Specify requirements for SAP systems, services and solutions, and collaborate with teams to define their architecture
• Report to senior management on progress against targets, and document Architect’s decisions, recommendations, and business rules
• Create and implement architectures for SAP systems, services and solutions
• Develop technical design solutions
• Provide technical direction and leadership to development, test, and integration teams
• Perform validation and verification of SAP solutions
• Provide technical and functional support for customers
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, efficiency, and integration of technologies
• Develop plans for development, integration, and testing of SAP solutions

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 2+ years’ proven experience in project management, software development, or business operations management
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
• Experience addressing business and technology challenges with creative solutions
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles,
