Equity Research Associate Duties:

• Identify prospective investment opportunities by analyzing the market and industry
• Generate ideas for and critically evaluate potential investments
• Perform independent research, including analysis of companies, industries, and business trends
• Solve complex problems, make independent decisions, and work as a team member
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Keep up to date on latest market trends and technologies
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Equity Research Associate Responsibilities:

• Experience in equity research
• Strong quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Requirements And Skills:

• Perform stock screening research to identify undervalued companies
• Review company financials and estimate company valuations based on current earnings and debt
• Evaluate all potential investment opportunities and rank their fit within the portfolio
• Leverage knowledge of industry and local economies through field research
• Publish equity reports detailing potential stock purchases and updates on each company investment
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of investment objectives and risk tolerance
• Maintain professional relationships with investors and provide consulting services as needed
• Maintain active knowledge of all company financials
