We’re looking for a Field Engineer to work on a variety of projects. The engineer will be responsible for planning and executing engineering projects, as well as providing technical support to field staff. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
Field Engineer Duties:
- Perform technical/engineering duties, administering, coordinating, managing, and directing projects, programs, and operations
- Utilize technical expertise and analytical skills to evaluate, design, and develop equipment, machinery, systems, and procedures
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Maintain constant communication with staff, management, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization

Field Engineer Responsibilities:
- Takes charge of daily field operations, overseeing and resolving any technical issues, supervising employees, inspecting work, and completing daily reports and paperwork
- Monitors operational performance metrics and reports results to upper management
- Oversees employee safety, assists with safety training and meetings, and responds to work-time loss and workplace accidents
- Performs preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, cleaning, and lubrication
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 2+ years’ field engineering experience
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
