Health Information Technology Duties:

• Provide leadership and guidance to Health Information Technology staff
• Provide guidance and supervision to Health Information Technology staff
• Provide leadership to Health Information Technology staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring Health Information Technology staff comply with all regulations
• Create, maintain, and update policies and procedures
• Coordinate internal activities with Health Information Technology staff
• Maintain effective and efficient operations of Health Information Technology department
• Maintains effective communication among Health Information Technology staff, management, and clients
• Create, maintain, and review annual goals and objectives for Health Information Technology department
• Provide leadership and support
• Implement and maintain standards and practices
• Provide leadership
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Health Information Technology Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and oversee the implementation of the internal radiopharmaceuticals tracking system
• Conduct market research and propose new solutions and technologies to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and improve patient safety
• Be a subject matter expert for radiopharmaceuticals, and answer questions from technicians and physicians
• Assist in credentialing of new facilities
• Continue research and development of radiopharmaceuticals
• Recommend and approve equipment purchases and software upgrades
• Conduct special studies as requested

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Information Technology or related field
• 2+ years proven experience managing Electronic Health Record implementations
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to identify and evaluate data challenges
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of health IT standards, regulations, and
