We’re looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team! As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our Human Resources department runs smoothly and efficiently. Human Resources Specialist Duties:
- Co-ordinate, schedule, and process all human resource administration functions including processing hiring and termination paperwork and such typical functions as employee benefits, payroll, and employee development
- Establish and maintain all company employee records, including employee files, employee handbooks, and employee directories
- Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement human resource administrative procedures and programs for the company
- Assist management in hiring procedures, employee training, personnel policies, and employee development
- Be proactive in monitoring employee morale and evaluating performance
- Retain all personnel records of the company
- Procure and properly maintain all office supplies and equipment
- Oversee company compliance with all legal regulations, employee safety, and employment standards
- Procure gift items, publications, and such services as transportation, entertainment, and catering for the company
Human Resources Specialist Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of human resources functions, from recruitment to payroll, including interviewing candidates, processing new-hire paperwork, and following up on employee concerns
- Manage employee records, including time sheets, performance evaluations, and exit interviews
- Provide general labor support, including answering phones, providing project support, and setting up events
- Work closely with vendors and distributors to maintain up-to-date records
