Instructional Designer Duties:
- Assist in planning, writing, and documenting instructional content, materials, and programs
- Recommend instructional methods and materials for individuals and groups
- Design, develop, or modify training materials and programs
- Assist in the development of training programs
- Work with external vendors for the creation of training materials
- Evaluate effectiveness of training materials
- Create and maintain learning content
- Create instructional tools, materials, and resources
- Develop and manage instructional solutions

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:
- Work closely with supervisor and cross-functional teams to design and develop training materials, and collaborate with managers to reevaluate and adapt ongoing training efforts
- Work to identify and address training needs, and plan, coordinate, develop, and deliver training
- Maintain and update library of training documentation and reference materials, including instructions, policies, procedures, forms, and policies
- Participate in regular training sessions and meetings and participate in companywide training programs to maintain professional development
- Develop, maintain, and update electronic and printed reference materials
- Research and document industry standards, best practices, and content gaps
- Manage ongoing training programs and projects, staying current with developments in and outside of industry
- Train and coach employees on new processes and procedures
- Work with other team members to create and maintain training materials
- Identify, translate, and disseminate in-house policies and procedures
- Develop, manage, and maintain content authoring and delivery systems

- Proven experience as an instructional designer, including the development of instructional design strategies and facilitation of training
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
