We’re looking for a Linguist to come and help us with our project. We need someone who is an expert in linguistics and can help us to understand the nuances of language.
Linguist Duties:
- Track, identify, and resolve problems
- Recommend and implement solutions to complex issues
- Conduct studies, research, and investigations
- Create reports and correspondence
- Integrate solutions with company policies, procedures, and practices

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Requirements And Skills:
- Translate a wide range of technical documents, including medical, legal, and software documentation, from English to French
- Work independently and as part of a team, and communicate with translators in other departments
- Research and document terminology for departmental use and quality assurance
- Perform quality assurance checks
- Ensure all translations adhere to client guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate with customer care representatives to ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion
- Meet all deadlines for translation and review, and document all translation activities and deadlines
- Meet with clients, discuss their needs and expectations, and translate messages as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of source and target language content
- Provide status updates to management on project status
- Maintain accurate, current, and complete records of translation
- Attend and participate in translation training
