The Maintenance Supervisor is the person in charge of directing and coordinating all maintenance activities and personnel.
The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable to maintain, repair, and replace all company equipment, facilities, and vehicles in a safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective way.
Job Brief:
We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of maintenance workers. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing all maintenance activities, as well as ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.
Maintenance Supervisor Duties:
- Develop budgets and schedules for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and shutdowns
- Design and implement maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment, including repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment replacement, and system upgrades
- Supervise the work of subordinates
- Identify and report necessary repairs
- Maintain and update equipment records
- Coordinate all phases of building maintenance
- Schedule and supervise work activities
- Perform routine inspections and tests
- Develop and maintain contacts with outside vendors and contractors
- Assist engineers, architects, and property managers in technical projects
- Develop, implement, coordinate, and monitor maintenance procedures for operating systems

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee facility and equipment maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, as well as groundskeeping
- Meet with facility personnel to discuss maintenance needs and priorities; inspect facility equipment, such as HVAC systems, boilers, and pumps; recommend repairs and upgrades
- Perform preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure as scheduled
- Maintain facility records, such as work orders and warranty logs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for healthcare staff, patients, and visitor
- Meet with supervisors to discuss employee performance, interview, and hire new personnel; oversee personnel training, and interview and make hiring
