Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Orderly Attendant who is responsible for providing basic patient care and maintaining a clean and safe environment in the hospital. The Orderly Attendant will be responsible for moving patients to and from their beds, bathing and dressing patients, and providing other basic patient care.

Orderly Attendant Duties:

• Work as an effective team member in the reception area to ensure customer satisfaction, coordinate customer appointments, and communicate clearly and effectively with customers.
• Maintain and manage a database of customer records, company information, and accounts
• Handle incoming calls and emails, taking messages and directing callers to the appropriate department
• Contact customers and inform them of the status of their order
• Identify, address and resolve complaints
• Perform data entry, filing, and sorting
• Ensure reception area is neat and organized
• Attend to customer’s requests
• Assist guests as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Orderly Attendant Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and routine maintenance of patient rooms, public areas, and hospital equipment
• Collect trash and recyclables from patient rooms, hallways, and common areas; sort trash for recycling, and general waste
• Load, unload, stock, and merchandise patient belongings and hospital supplies
• Clean, disinfect, and restock hospital rooms, patient bathrooms, and storage rooms
• Clean, restock, and restock patient refrigerator; prepare, serve, and clean up after meals and snacks for patients and visitors

Requirements And Skills:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proven experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to pay close attention to details
