Photographer Duties:

  • Capture images of work sites, promotional materials, and products
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols as well as quality goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Identify, research, and resolve issues related to management, staff, and vendors
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with all staff, vendors, and customers
  • Assist in the creation of written reports

Photographer Responsibilities:

  • Photograph and sell photos through online outlets, such as shutterstock.com, commonsware.com, fotolia.com, istockphoto.com, and istockphoto.com
  • Develop compelling imagery to capture the client’s essence and apply a consistent style to image content
  • Assign photos to appropriate product categories using keyword tags
  • Develop, maintain, and analyse photos according to sales, keywords, tags, and other performance metrics
  • Engage with potential clients and vendors to develop photography portfolios
  • Work with advertising and marketing teams to develop creative marketing strategies
  • Investigate and resolve payment disputes with clients

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in photography or related field
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a photographer
  • Excellent photographic and technical skills
  • Ability to create and manage photo databases
  • Ability to operate photographic equipment
  • Ability to direct and supervise other photographers
