Product Specialist Duties:
- Provide support to field sales team in all aspects of product line.
- Conduct product demonstrations to new and existing customers.
- Research and develop new sales leads.
- Communicate with product managers and engineers on product development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Promote company products through trade shows and seminars.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Search for and establish new distribution channels.

Product Specialist Responsibilities:
- Both field and office based, provides product support for office-, warehouse-, and manufacturing-based operations.
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, including sample plans, CAD files, and renderings.
- Assist in the creation of advertising, promotional materials, and technical literature.
- Provide excellent customer service, including responding to inquiries, orders, and changes.
- Create project-specific graphics for CAD drawings.
- Research products, competitor offerings, and industry trends, and collaborate with other departments to create product improvement plans.
- Track product usage, anticipate maintenance needs, and report information to management.
- Provide expert consultation on product features, specifications, and performance.
- Track inventory, track deliveries, and issue purchase orders.
- Assist in training new staff and contractors, and provide ongoing product instruction and demonstrations.
- Assist with product demonstrations and presentations.
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other related field.
- 2+ years’ proven experience managing inventory.
- Experience managing retail product.
- Knowledge of retail operations/sales techniques.
