Programmer Analyst Duties:
- Develop and maintain software by planning, analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing applications or systems; troubleshooting problems that arise throughout the development life cycle of computer programs and systems; resolving problems, if any
- Protect company systems by monitoring usage for malicious or fraudulent activities
- Provide technical support to employees and customers
- Perform research and recommend or implement new, more efficient operational procedures based on analysis of existing processes and systems
- Conduct tours of facility and assist with employee training
Programmer Analyst Responsibilities:
- Performs programming analysis and design tasks, and generates program code according to specifications and business needs
- Participates in the creation of program documentation; apply knowledge for software development and troubleshooting
- Work with management and users to resolve application problems
- Supports application development, Platform Center, and developer tools
- Implements standards in code development, deployment, and documentation; provides guidance to others
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, computer science, or related field
- 2+ years professional IT experience; Microsoft Certification is desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid problem-solving skills with analytical sophistication
